Ro. told Angela he discovered that it is a woman instead of a man who live inside Baobab. Angela was disappointed about that as she cannot imagine the image of that woman.

la : it is really difficult for me to imagine an image of a woman.
ro. : but I can imagine no story if it is a man who live inside Baobab.
Yes, there is a story about Baobab. One day a man see a woman behind the Baobab. He waited this woman for ten years next to the Baobab. This woman, who live inside Baobab heard the man’s calling and she came finally.
ro. : that’s why it has to be a woman. If it is a man, what can happened? A man saw a man and they became friends.
la. : that’s why there is woman in the Eden garden. And that’s why god created woman.
ro. : to make the world simpler.

The story of May Day

One day when I am returning home from Schlesische Tor, I were stopped by some amazing drawings on the ground. An old woman was putting all her drawings on the floor, and selling them.

I started to flip through the drawings, they are beautiful. The woman started to introduce me the drawings, where she drew, why she drew and how she drew them. Every time when there is a person stopped by, she will started explaining her drawings with lots of passion.

She had been drawing and selling her paintings or 20 years in Berlin. I don’t doubt what she told me as when I were sitting with her on the u-bahn station, people who past by greeted her friendly and respectfully. May Day shared with me the u-Bahn station in Berlin’s weekend can sometime be dangerous as a lot of people just took the wrong drugs and went crazy. But as all people around the district knew her, so she is safe.

” Your drawings are really really ugly !” said with a man with strong saxony ascent. How many times she can encounter this during 20 years, but she just keep on drawing and drawing. She showed me an old sketchbook, it is almost full. Inside it contains the drawings from different people, she remembers every story of those drawings. Who draw them, why and how they draw them. “I cannot make copy of these pictures, because I don’t own these pictures, I am only the keeper of these pictures.” I am fulled of jealous of her sketchbook.

Before I leave I make a drawing on her sketchbook. “I love it I love it I love it I love it.” this is May Day’s reaction after she got my drawing. This is May Day.

something wise from my friend, my ex-landlord, when I were struggling among choices :

“If the two options both have some advantages and shortcomings, and it’s very difficult to decide;

maybe coin flipping could not be a bad idea.

Especially, when you would not agree with the result of coin flipping, that means you have had your best choice under your subconsciousness.”

It is always a process to accompany with things which cannot be reconciled

Article wrote when I were still working in Hong Kong :

<<wa.wa.02.sun is shining from every corner>>

by wawa

Wa.wa.02. Sun is shining from every corner, maybe it should be renamed as “Sun is hiding from every corner”. We went to Potsdam with terrible weather, it was raining, hailing and snowing. See what we discovered before we departed :

The drawings of wa.wa.01 are still at Hauptbahnhof! Two of them were “washed” and Angela took them for redrawing.
People of wa.wa.02 were tougher than we expected. You guys were tough and strong, finally after Jonas finished the last piece of drawing. The sun came out. He insisted to finish every drawing even it was heavily raining. But it worth, see how the snow gave life to Jona’s drawing.

After suffering from outdoor coldness for hours, we went to a warm place and had our first intense wawa discussion and sharing. As people from wawa are all with different background, a great diversity of drawings were found. Angela suddenly pop-up a question : “Do you believe one’s drawings can refer his personality?” See what they say about themselves :

“I am lazy so I always only draw half of the drawings. I don’t want to finish them. Also I always find the easiest part of the drawings to draw.”

It was supposed to be a rainy day, but under April’s pen snow became birds.

“Drawing into details and striving for beauty are addictions. As once you started a small part of the drawing in the super details. You have no way to stop it in the middle.”

“I am really bad in using colors, so I learn using colors by using them a totally wrong way.”

“You can choose how to draw a line. Sometimes if I am lazy I just draw a circle for a face.”

Thanks all for the amazing and in-depth sharing! Un beso!

And keep an eye on coming wa.wa.03’s polling, see you in the next wawa!

Roberto went to Africa and he told me there was a special tree called Baobab. I have never heard of this tree so I googled it. It looks so surrealistic. People said Baobao is the tree of life, as it can store a lot of water inside.

The children there said that in this Baobab lives a man that goes out in the night from a door between the branches. How amazing life can be.
